In 2020, 4 million children were living in poverty with 107% increase in children receiving emergency food in the last year (Children Society).

Local Love aims to lessen the impact of poverty.  

We provide “bags of hope” to fill the gap and support vulnerable families in the local community. Our bags include food and essential items donated by our volunteers. We also feel passionately to support the emotional and mental needs of the children affected, so we include activities and puzzles for them to complete.

At present we are supporting 16 families across two schools in Wallington, Surrey (South London). We have provided 50 bags of hope and want to do more!
